The Lazarus Project was initiated when StoryChurch and Legacy Wesleyan merged in Fall 2023. Because of our shared passion to help those in the margins of our community, we integrated our two congregations and programs. We realized our city needs more of this kind of integration – partnerships that impact some of our community’s most challenging issues.
Our four areas of focus are:
– Violence Interruption in gang and street culture.
– Recovery Spaces for those dealing with hurts, habits and hang-ups.
– Housing Insecurity.aid and alleviation.
– Mental Health partnerships.
